Week 11: Florida

After watching the Tennessee game in NY last week and staying up there for a few days, I made the trip down to SC yesterday. This will be the first game I've witnessed live since the Clemson game in 2013. Looking forward to seeing Springs Brooks Plaza for the first time, and hopefully a Carolina team that is prepared to face the SEC East champs.

South Carolina has shown the last few weeks that they can be competitive with teams that outclass them. I think there is a good chance that Florida comes into Williams-Brice with a little less fire than usual after they clinched the East title in a tough game against Vanderbilt. Although they will need to keep winning in they want a chance at a making the CFP. They've got the same great defense that Muschamp left them, and a much improved offense under Jim McElwain. Vegas has the Gators as 8-point favorites. I think the Gamecocks will cover the spread for the 3rd consecutive game, with similar ending results. Prediction: USC 16 - Florida 21
